The Green View Grown^® Brand represents our commitment to producing plants of exceptional quality.

Green View Nursery is proud to offer quality-grown trees, shrubs, perennials, annuals and a special blend of bluegrass sod to our customers. We currently have over 800 acres dedicated to our growing operations. Expert horticulturists and extensive irrigation and fertilization practices allow Green View to produce what we feel is some of Illinois' finest nursery stock.

Green View sod is grown on rich, prairie soil with a balanced level of fertility, insuring a strong root system and lush foliage. Research has shown that a blend of bluegrass is superior to any single variety alone. Thus, Green View sod is a blend of darker, denser, dwarfer bluegrass sod, developed especially for the Midwest.

In addition to our sod, Green View grows over 100 different varieties of balled & burlapped shade trees, ornamental trees and evergreens, close to 100 varieties of shrubs and a great variety of shrub roses. We also offer more than 500 varieties of perennials and annuals. All of our Green View Grown^® plants are selected and carefully crafted with quality, dependability, hardiness & uniqueness in mind.

Wholesale Operations

Since 1955, Green View production has provided quality products to customer through our central Illinois retail locations. Those same products are available direct to your through our Nursery Direct Sales, as well as Wholesale Operations at each of our Garden Center locations.
